Artist statement

I want my artworks to have the immediacy and sincerity that I seek in their studies. In my first thoughts and spontaneity, without experiencing a second thought, I believe the truth is obscured. The creation process is a time of meditation for me as we struggle daily with vanity in a world that prevents us from being with ourselves to think and ask questions.

My artworks are mostly anthropocentric and I draw my themes from daily life.
